MOT Testing

DC Wilson provides a MOT testing station from our refurbished premises on Rutland Avenue in Lancaster. With 36 years of experience and state of the art equipment as well as highly skilled technicians we are perfectly equipped to get your car through the MOT testing and advice you on all issues arising with regards to MOT testing.

All EC states must comply with a Directive to ensure that vehicles using public roads are mechanically safe and operate within emissions limits, known in the UK as the 'MOT' after the old Ministry of Transport. At DC Wilson we ensure through our MOT testing that your vehicle passes this test. MOT Testing is expected, once your vehicle is three years old and thereafter every year. The UK MOT testing covers over 150 checks of safety- related and emissions systems. All this is available at DC Wilson for a minor MOT testing fee of £49 and should your vehicle require a retest, we will not charge you for this.

At DC Wilson we use only state of the art technology to cut the MOT testing time in half. From brake testers to diagnostic equipment, gas & smoke analysers and MOT testing approved Workshop Packages we have the right equipment to provide you with a professional MOT testing service and no long waiting hours.

DC Wilson employs highly skilled technicians that are mainly responsible for MOT testing which provides them with the expertise to maintain a fast service.
